We have been designing toys to prepare for our toy making day next week. When thinking about our designs we had to consider the materials that we would need and the forces that the toys will use.
Some of our favourite designs were cars, trucks, trolleys and parachutes. Some students have been super motivated to work on their designs already and have been creating during reading and play and at home.
This activity gave our students a great opportunity to write in way that applies to real life by writing labels and lists.
