Today we were very lucky to have a visit from Vic Esson who is the goalie for the New Zealand Football Ferns. Vic is a former pupil at Halswell School. The children were so excited to see her and ask her some great questions. Vic told us about what it was like to be a professional footballer (her full time job is for the Rangers in Scotland!) and how she started her career playing football with her friends on the Halswell School field.
