Today Loretta and Scarlett (from House of Felt) made a return visit to school to share with us some of their designs that they had made for the Wellington show. Loretta brought in one of her dresses that was made entirely from milk bottle lids! The children loved seeing it and hearing about how it was made. One lucky child even got to try it on.
This week we are starting to plan our matariki masks for our own wearable arts show in week 10. It was great to be able to see and hear all about what we could do from the 'experts'.
