I belong, you belong, we all belong!

The Huritini children have been busy creating a mural of the Huritini awa (river) to display in the Blue Room. It is made up of the handprints of everyone in the studio and a portrait of each children standing beside the river.

This is part of learning about our the cultural narrative of our kura and what the different studio names mean. They are all important places or geographical features in our area.

Our river also reflects our school value Whanaungatanga and our focus on Belonging. We think it looks amazing - come and check it out!
